Starting your fertility journey can feel overwhelming, and it’s natural to have questions along the way. At Hudson Valley Fertility, we believe knowledge is empowering. That’s why we’ve gathered answers to some of the most common questions about our care, treatments, and patient support. If you don’t see your question here, our team is always just a call or message away.

  • When should I see a fertility specialist?

    If you’ve been trying to conceive for 12 months (or 6 months if you’re over 35), or if you have irregular cycles, prior miscarriages, or known reproductive concerns, it may be time to schedule a consultation.

  • What treatments are available at Hudson Valley Fertility?

    We offer a full range of options including ovulation induction, IUI, IVF, reciprocal IVF, donor egg/sperm programs, egg and embryo freezing, and embryo adoption.

  • What happens at my first appointment?

    Most patients do not need a referral. However, some insurance plans may require one. It’s best to check with your provider in advance.

  • Do you treat same-sex couples and single parents?

    Yes. We proudly support all individuals and couples in building their families, with treatment options tailored to diverse needs.

  • Does insurance cover fertility care?

    Coverage varies by plan. Our financial team will review your insurance benefits with you and explain flexible payment options if needed.

  • Where do you serve patients?

    Our clinic is located in the Hudson Valley, serving patients across Dutchess, Ulster, Orange, Putnam, and Westchester counties, as well as surrounding areas.

  • Are virtual consultations available?

    Yes. We offer telemedicine appointments so you can begin your journey from the comfort of home before visiting the clinic for in-person care.
